Simple present tense

Simple Present is tenses (sentence patterns) that are used to tell an event that is happening at this time in a simple form. The function of the Simple Present Tense is to state facts, habits, or events that occur at this time. The Simple Present Tense itself uses the first form of the verb (verb).

The function of the present tense

a. to tell the activity that is repeated or it can also tell the habit. In this function, we use adverb frequency.

ex : Dinda always goes to school everyday.

b.  to explain the truth or facts.

ex : The world is around

c. To explain something that can't be changed

ex : My grandparents are lives in solo

d. to express an opinion.

ex : I think she is a beautiful girl.

The formula for the Simple Present Tense is

Subject + Verb 1 (s/es) for verbal sentences

and Subject + to be (are, am, is) + nominal (adjective/noun) for nominal sentences.

What must be considered is that if the actor or subject is He/She/It then s/es must be added behind the verb. However, when it becomes negative (do not/ does not) and interrogative (?) s/es must be removed.
